Now that I have gone this far on my B-29 Memorial information, I want to thank everyone who have helped is doing so.
Linda McCaffrey, Beverly Komarek and her staff at the Barton County Museum have provided hospitality and support.
I plan to leave this notebook at the Barton County Museum for your inspection and viewing.
I want to thank Jim Misunas, Great Bend Tribune reporter, for his support by an article and photo published March 28, concerning my project and what I was wanting to do about the B-29 plane and the Memorial Plaza. That was a great help and a boost in getting started.
Now, I am asking for your support in finishing the rest of the story for my notebook. I think there are some more of you who have some newspaper clippings that I don’t have in my collection.
If you have anything that pertains to the B-29 Memorial Plaza, please make a copy of your notes and leave it at the museum.
