Dear Editor,
Look up in the sky. It’s a falling star, NO. It’s a UFO, NO. It’s ISS, the International Space Station flying 220 miles over us and going approx. 17,000 mph, that’s fast. If the skies are clear, Friday the 23rd at 8:45 p.m., coming from the NNW going E, visible for 5 minutes; Saturday 24th at 9:34 p.m. coming from the WNW going SSE, visible for 3 minutes; Sunday 25th at 8:45 p.m. coming from NW going SE, visible for four minutes. For complete details go to www.nasa.gov/spotthestation. It’s impressive in evenings but when it comes over in the mornings before dawn it is real bright, because its solar panels are turned towards the sun. Happy viewing!
