ISS visible this weekend

Dear Editor,
Look up in the sky. It’s a falling star, NO. It’s a UFO, NO. It’s ISS, the International Space Station flying 220 miles over us and going approx. 17,000 mph, that’s fast. If the skies are clear, Friday the 23rd at 8:45 p.m., coming from the NNW going E, visible for 5 minutes; Saturday 24th at 9:34 p.m. coming from the WNW going SSE, visible for 3 minutes; Sunday 25th at 8:45 p.m. coming from NW going SE, visible for four minutes. For complete details go to It’s impressive in evenings but when it comes over in the mornings before dawn it is real bright, because its solar panels are turned towards the sun. Happy viewing!
