Dear Editor,
I would like to express my support for Frank Koelsch as a candidate for the Fourth District county commissioner position. As a long-time resident of Ellinwood, I have personally observed Frank’s dedication to serving the citizens of Barton County.
Frank has lived and worked in Barton County his entire life, and he has first hand knowledge of how local governments operate. He has served as a city commissioner, and he is currently in his eighth year as mayor of Ellinwood, where he works with all the various administrative departments. As mayor, he is dedicated to meeting the needs of his constituents and he is a strong proponent of healthy economic development. Just as important, Frank understands mill levies and budgets, and he will be a trusted and responsible steward of your tax dollars.
Frank has also been active in working with local civic organizations, and has been very supportive of programs for youth and the elderly. He’s been a leader with the chamber of commerce, the Ellinwood Alumni Association and other organizations. As a veteran of the Vietnam War, Frank is also active with local veteran’s groups.
In short, Frank is very involved in both Ellinwood and Barton County, and he shares his time and talent with many entities. You can count on him to help.
Throughout his service and accomplishments, Frank has been both a pivotal leader and a working partner in solving problems and getting the job done. I appreciate this about Frank.
I would encourage everyone to support Frank Koelsch on election day, because he’ll get the job done for the citizens of the Fourth District and all of Barton County.
Sharon Sturgis,
Ellinwood
