Dear Editor,
On Sept. 16 we got that phone call that every parent dreads. Our son, Mike Wells, was involved in an accident between Hoisington and Great Bend. He has several months of healing to go through, and we are so grateful to all those who have cared for him. Our first thank you is to God for being with Mike and the other drivers, and bringing them through all this alive. Thank you to the emergency responders who worked the accident. Thank you for the gentleman who called us for Mike so that we could be at the hospital right away. Thank you to Kevin and Tammy for coming to the hospital to be with us. Thank you to the staff at Great Bend Regional Hospital for the care that you gave to Mike. Thank you to the Ambulance Drivers and Life Watch Staff for getting us to Wichita safely. Thank you to all our friends, family, prayer chains, and our family at Foundry Methodist Church for all the prayers phone calls and cards. Each day we are seeing God’s healing in Mike. Thank you to Farmers Bank and Trust. What an awesome group of people I work with. Thank you to the people that Mike works with at Essex for your thoughts and prayers. Mike has several months of healing ahead of him. For those who have asked for his address, he has moved to Avita Health and Rehab, 2114 N. 127th Court East, Wichita, KS 67206.
We pray that God will bless each of you.
Celia and Jim Wells
