Dear Editor,
I just wanted to thank all that were involved with the Great Bend High School Student Council Community Service Project. It was a positive experience for the all involved and just reaffirms that our youth are invested in their community! The Student Council should be applauded for taking on this project and continuing it yearly. The sponsors were key in helping the students obtain their shirts and  United Way of Central Kansas is especially gratefully for the donation from the project, which will stay here locally and help 21 agencies and projects in our community.
