Dear Editor,
My husband Phil, who is in the latter stages of Alzheimer’s disease, received one of the beautiful red Boxes of Love on Valentine’s Day from Candy, his ElderCare caregiver. He especially enjoyed the pretty valentines which were made by several of the Girl Scouts in Troop No. 211. Every one of the many items in the box was spot on in meeting his needs. And to be honest I was excited by the crossword puzzle book which will probably be used by me.
We want to express a “heart”felt thank you to the BCC volleyball girls who assembled the boxes and to all who donated items to this “love”ly project.
