It is a shameful reality that many candidates for public office campaign as conservatives to get the conservative vote from Kansans. However, once they get into office they betray us with liberal representation in government. There is a candidate running for the State Senate seat in District #35 who is running as a conservative and he will not betray his conservatism after he is elected. This candidate is Donald Hobson and he has worked tenaciously in the trenches for 20 years to help elect true conservatives to office, so I know what his real principles are. Donald Hobson is the only candidate in this race that I know of who has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, which is a promise to never vote to raise taxes. He will also promote Kansas’ Second Amendment rights which are under attack these days. Most importantly, he will promote legislation to defend Kansas’ most vulnerable citizens, the pre-born. You can count on Donald Hobson to vote pro-life after he is elected.
