Dear Ex-President Trump:

I was a strong supporter when you were in office. I loved your philosophy of “Put America First” and supported a great majority of both your foreign and domestic policies. I believe, at that particular time in the history of our country, you may have been the only person in our country really qualified to be effective as president of the United States.

Probably the best thing you did was to expose the incompetence and corruption of many officials in our government. For that you are hated and vilified by many but, I, personally appreciate it very much.

I also believe, however, that you made some serious mistakes in the latter part of your term in office that have made you a divisive figure in the Republican party and in America as a whole. As much as I respect so many of the things that you have done, I think the best thing you can do for America is to step aside and endorse another candidate — a candidate with much the same philosophies and policies as you had.

Please, President Trump, do the same thing as you have done so many times in the past and put America first.
