To the editor,

Monday morning, on Veterans Day, I was in the audience at Great Bend High School for an awesome tribute to veterans. I want to thank principal Tim Friess and others who helped organize this tribute to veterans. It was such a moving assembly. The high school orchestra, high school band and high school madrigal singers all participated in the tribute to veterans. A good number of veterans were present and were recognized during the assembly. A Great Bend graduate and veteran was the honored speaker. It was a very moving assembly and should make all USD 428 residents very proud our high school made the effort for this tribute. Activities such as this helps make our community a fine place to live and educate our young people. Thank you Great Bend High School.
