To the editor:

On Feb. 16, 2023, Great Bend Evening Lions Club hosted a Ham and Bean Dinner and raffle fundraiser at the Columbus Club, 733 Main Street. We thank everyone who purchased tickets and attended this event. We thank the Columbus Club and Boy Scout Troop 157 for their help. Our club gave a special thanks to our own members Earl Creggar and Donnie Gotchall for their help. We thank Lions Club members from Otis, Claflin and Stafford for coming to our event.

Aaron Rumpel won our $500 raffle. Mr. Rumpel generously returned $100 to our club.

Our Giving Committee will be recommending at our next meeting where to give our profit to help the Great Bend community.
