Dear editor,
You have noticed that while traveling in town and neighboring towns, that over half of the drivers will not abide but state guidelines when it’s raining.
State law says under 8-1703. 3) when windshield wipers are in continuous use as a result of rain, sleet or snow, stop lights, turn signals and other signaling devices shall be lighted as prescribed for the use of such devices. It is against the law if you don’t do this, so why are there no tickets for this?
Are we so lax that we have to wait for someone to die as a result of someone not abiding by the law for it to be enforced?
