The Barton wrestling team finally got to wrestling on its home floor Wednesday night in a battle of ranked Jayhawk Conference teams.
The Cougars and Cloud County Thunderbirds met up at the Barton Gym with Barton coming out on top by a 35-14 margin.
Barton came in ranked No. 22 in the nation while Cloud carried the No. 15 ranking into the contest.
The Cougars scored points early during the match then coasted to the win over T-Birds.
