The Barton Community College baseball team took Dodge City into extra innings in the first game of a doubleheader to win 8-5.
Game 2 was dominated by pitching and timely defensive plays as Dodge City scored one in the third and two in the fifth to win 3-0.  
The Cougars are 26-20 overall and 10-16 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conferece Western Division play while Dodge City moves to 16-26 overall and 10-20 in the West.

GAME NOTES — Barton Baseball has added a game to their schedule on Tuesday starting at 6 pm.  It will be one nine-inning game against Kansas Wesleyn JV played at Barton.
