The Barton Community College women’s basketball team will travel to Winfield on Friday to challenge the Southwestern JV at 7 p.m., just four days after the Cougars downed the Moundbuilders, 91-74.
It is the final game for the Cougars until the new year, when Barton begins its conference schedule on the road against Cloud.
The Cougars offense has found success getting the ball inside to 6-foot-4 freshman Netanya Jackson, who came off the bench to lead Barton with 20 points on Monday.
The Cougars offense, which lit up the scoreboard for 95 and 91 points in its last two games, isn’t the problem according to head coach Keith Ferguson.
Ferguson called out his defense Monday night after the game for giving up 151 points in the last two games.
