Kansas State's 36-35 come-from-behind win over No. 15 Baylor on Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium has catapulted the Wildcats in The Associated Press poll for the first time in four seasons.
Kansas State (4-0) is No. 20 in The AP poll and No. 21 in the USA Today coaches poll.
K-State last made an appearance in the national poll in 2007 when it was ranked 25th in the AP poll following a win against Colorado on Oct. 13. Sunday's top-20 ranking is the highest by a Wildcats team since they were No. 13 back in 2004. It also marked the first time since 2004 that a K-State team appeared in both polls during the same week.
The Wildcats will make their second straight appearance on ABC on Saturday as they host Missouri. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
