K-State preseason special on FSN

MANHATTAN — Kansas State fans will have numerous opportunities to preview the 2010 Wildcats prior to the Sept. 4 football opener against UCLA.
Three television networks across the state and region will air the Wildcats’ preseason kickoff special beginning Sunday.
The 2010 Kansas State Football Preseason Special, produced by K-State, will air three times on FSN and will also be broadcast on Cox 22 and Metro Sports.
The one-hour show will air on Fox Sports Net at 6 p.m. on Sunday, and will then be replayed at 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, and 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 2.
Cox 22 will air the preseason special on three occasions beginning at 7 p.m. on August 30. The network will then replay the show at 8 p.m. on September 1 and 6 p.m. on September 3. Metro Sports will also air the show on August 31 (9 p.m.), September 2 (9 p.m.) and September 3 (1 p.m.).
The 2010 Kansas State Football Preseason Special is co-hosted by the voice of the Wildcats, Wyatt Thompson, and head coach Bill Snyder. It includes an inside look at the Wildcats’ offense, defense and special teams as well as an analysis of the upcoming 2010 schedule and individual player features.
The Bill Snyder television show, Kansas State’s weekly football show, makes its season debut on FSN on Sunday, September 5, in its original 10:30 p.m. time slot. Cox 22 will pick up the weekly show on Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m., while it will also air on Metro Sports eight times a week on its two channels. There will be no show following K-State’s bye week on October 2.
The Wildcats open the 2010 season in a nationally-televised matchup with the Bruins at 2:30 p.m.
