LONDON — Former Barton Community College track and field athlete Tabarie Henry has been granted a rare honor by his native country Virgin Islands.
Henry, who will represent his country in the 400 in his second Summer Olympics, will carry the Virgin Islands flag during tonight’s opening ceremony.
Henry holds eight Virgin Islands records, including both the indoor and outdoor 400.
Opening ceremony coverage begins at 6:30 on NBC.
