The Barton Community College volleyball team strung together three straight game victories to put away Cloud County after losing the first on Thursday night at Kirkman Activity Center.

Dropping the first set 25-23, the Lady Cougars dominated the following games, winning 25-14, 25-20 and 20-19.

With the victory, Barton improves to 12-16 overall, 9-3 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play, while Cloud drops to 4-26, 1-10.

Honoring the soon-to-be departing sophomore members of the team after the match, Barton still has two regular-season matches remaining.

On Tuesday, Barton hosts conference-leading Hutchinson, starting at 6:30 p.m.
