The Barton Community College women’s tennis team won a dual match against Hesston on Wednesday afternoon at Club 1 Fitness.
The Lady Cougars nearly swept Hesston, winning 8-1.
“It’s great to get back on the courts,” Barton head coach Lyle Stickney said. “I had some concerns going into this meet as we hadn’t practiced for nearly a week due to the school cancellations, but the ladies were able to perform without any real sign of court rust.”
Barton challenges Cowley on Wednesday, March 6, at Hesston. The match starts at 10 a.m.
