Ranked No. 19 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll released earlier this week, the Lady Cougars got two goals from their leading scorer, Bianca Barron, and one from freshman Ruth Cazier to build a 3-0 halftime advantage.
Scoreless in the second half, Barton (11-3-1, 7-2-1) surrendered an early second-half goal, but prevailed to move into a third-place tie in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference standings with three games to play.
Pratt slips to 4-11-0, 4-6-0.
