HOISINGTON – Hoisington’s volleyball team downed Hutchinson Trinity, 25-17, 25-8 and  Ellsworth, 25-21, 21-25, 25-22 to wind down the regular season Oct. 12. The Cardinals (27-10, 4-5 CKL) own the top seed at the Hoisington volleyball substate Oct. 21. The Cardinals play Larned in Saturday’s opening match.

Jordyn Boxberger (354 serves, 288 serves received, 238 digs, 226 winners) is the Cardinals’ most versatile player. Setters Ellie Crawford (481 assists, 275 serves, 123 digs, 42 blocks) and Shellamae Farmer (256 assists) spark the offense.
