Admission free to see BCC take on Coffeyville in playoff action tonight

 The Barton Community College basketball programs will begin first round action of the Region VI playoffs tonight, as both teams will be taking on Coffeyville Community College.   The men’s team, the No. 6 seed in the region, will play their game at home versus the No. 11 seeded Ravens in a 7 p.m. tip at the Barton Gym with free admission for all fans.   The Lady Cougars, being the No. 11 seed in the women’s bracket, will travel to Coffeyville for a 7 p.m. tip at Nellis Hall against the No. 6 Lady Ravens.

The winner of the men’s contest advances to the 5:00 p.m. quarterfinal game at Park City’s Hartman Arena against the winner of No. 3 Neosho County Community College versus No. 14 Independence Community College.

On the women’s bracket, the winner of the Barton-Coffeyville game advances to Hartman Arena for the quarterfinal round Tuesday, March 1, at 5 p.m. against the winner of No. 3 Cowley College versus No. 14 Neosho County Community College.
