GOLDEN BELT ARROWS

Jordan Kitch and Beckim Neidenthal each scored 12 points to lead the Golden Belt Arrows grade school basketball team past Newton 45-25 Monday. The Arrows went on a 28 point run to start the game and led 38-6 at halftime.

Golden Belt blocked four shots and grabbed 17 steals.  Jack Hembree grabbed five rebounds. Also scoring were Landyn Weets (8), Isaiah Robl (5), Ryan Knop (5) and Clark Hembree (3).

GOLDEN BELT LADY ARROWS

The Newton Panthers dropped the Golden Belt Lady Arrows 24-13 in Monday’s grade school basketball game. The Arrows outscored Newton 10-5 in the fourth quarter. Arrow Kanyon Guthrie scored seven points and Kaye Byers added six points. Kinley Stos grabbed eight rebounds.
