LARNED — The Ellsworth Bearcats swept all four divisions to win Tuesday’s Larned Tennis Invitational on a 60-degree day. The Bearcats scored 22 points.

No. 1 singles Cody Oberle, No. 2 singles Cody Bourbon, No. 1 doubles Caden Whetzel-Dalton Zelenka and No. 2 doubles Adam Vehring-David Wesseler swept to first-place finishes.

Whetzel-Zelenka earned a pair of tiebreaker wins, including a 3-6, 6-2 (10-6) victory over Larned’s Andrew Bright-Logan DeMond for first place.

Vehring-Wesseler downed Larned’s Britton-Herrman-Joseph Theis, 8-4 for first place.

Larned’s No. 1 singles Dalton Penka placed third and No. 2 singles Ian Orth finished fourth.
