HOISINGTON 50, SMOKY VALLEY 46 – Hoisington's Tony Moore scored 15 points and Mason Martin added nine points as the Cardinals held off Smoky Valley 50-46 in Tuesday's Central Kansas League basketball game. Nine players scored points for the Cardinals (8-7, 2-2 CKL).

Smoky Valley's Taylor Campbell scored 22 points and Ty Heitschmidt added 14 points.

SMOKY VALLEY GIRLS 54, HOISINGTON 49 – Hoisington's Kylee Hahn scored 21 points and Tianna Lutters converted four 3-pointers to ignite a second-half rally that fell shy in a hard-fought 54-49 Central Kansas league basketball setback to Smoky Valley Tuesday.

Tianna Lutters added 12 points. Elle Crawford contributed 10 rebounds and six assists. The Cardinals converted 10 of 28 3-pointers.

The Cardinals (10-5, 1-3 CKL) tied the score for the final time at 41 when Viking Adrian Hazelwood converted a 3-pointer to end the third quarter. Hazelwood scored 23 points. Tenley Scott (13) and Kat Blanchat (12) scored in double figures.

Deerfield's Colten Musil scored 25 points. Trey Hill grabbed 17 rebounds.

Lydia Reed scored 17 points and Heidi Fisher (14) and Mia Meyer (13) scored in double figures for the Tigers (16-1, 6-0 CPL).

Briana Croisant led Otis-Bison (6-11, 1-4 CPL) with 13 points and Abigail Rodriguez added eight points.

ST. JOHN 50, OTIS-BISON 36 – Aden Adame kept the Tigers within range with a trio of 3-pointers and St. John outscored Otis-Bison 33-10 after halftime to rally from a 12-point deficit.

Adame (11) and Quade Smith (11) led the Tigers (9-8, 3-3 CPL) and Jace Reyes added nine points. The Tigers converted seven 3-pointers.

The Cougars (5-12, 1-4 CPL) were led by Jake Hoopingarner with nine points. Kelson Juno added eight points.
