Cardinal captures Claflin title

CLAFLIN – Hoisington’s two-time state qualifier Drew Nicholson (83) earned medalist honors at Monday’s Claflin Golf Invitational at Claflin Golf Course. Golfers endured 40-degree temperatures with north wind gusting past 25 mph.

Hoisington’s Sam Baldyga (88) tied for second place and Noah Dolezal (94) placed as seventh medalist. Nolan Wilborn (100) placed 12th.
