Yott defeated Lakin's Javion Granado 2-0 in the championship match.
No. 3 ranked Josiah Ball (27-4, 132) and Cole Gilliland (28-4, 285) finished runner-up. In championship matches, Hoxie's Carson Ochs edged Ball 2-1 and Hoxie's No. 4 ranked Gavin Schippers downed Gilliland 7-2.
Cardinals No. 4 Eastin Redetzke (18-5, 126), Teron Kraft (23-7, 157) and Alex Mater (14-18, 165) placed third. Jhadyn Turner (16-14, 113) finished fourth.
LARNED — Larned's No. 3 Luke Fischer (36-3, 190) and No. 3 Carter Attberry (29-7, 285) captured regional championships to lead four Indians into the state wrestling tournament. In championship matches, Fischer pinned Cimarron's Andrew Bogner (0:44) and Atteberry defeated Oakley's Ivan Jirak, 4-2 in overtime.
Larned's Jai Sean George (10-8, 106) placed third. Landon Haney (14-21, 175 finished fourth.
ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood's Jonathan Mason (25-8, 285) achieved school history by qualifying for the state tournament. Chaparral's Carson Gates pinned Mason (2:30) for third place. Mason won three matches and the Eagles won nine regional matches.
ST. JOHN — St. John's Caden McCandless (29-12, 175) earned a state berth with a runner-up finish with a loss to Hoxie's Sam Watkins in 45 seconds.
