Central Kansas Roller Girls hosted their first scrimmage of the season. Derby girls from Junction City, Wichita, Topeka, and Salina all met on Saturday at Skateland in Hutchinson for a derby match. Spectators are welcome and anyone interested in joining in on the derby fun can come by and see what it is about. More NSOs (Non-skating Officials), refs, teammates and volunteers are needed. No skating skills are required to start roller derby, everything is taught. Central Kansas Roller Girls meet at Skateland in Hutchinson from 7 to 9 p.m. on Mondays and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
