The Great Bend Kid Wrestling Club will be hosting a guest coach on Wednesday February 18th. Tyler Caldwell will be in the wrestling room working with young athletes participating in wrestling. Tyler is a 4-time Kansas State Champion from Goddard high school. Tyler went on to wrestler for the University of Oklahoma then transferred the Oklahoma State University. During his reign as a top collegiate wrestler Tyler compiled 126 victories. He was a four time Division 1 All-American, two time finalist. Last summer he won a University World Championship in freestyle. He is currently training for a shot at the Olympic team in 2016.
There will be two sessions on the 18, the first session from 6 to 7 p.m. will be for grade school kids in the 8 & under, 10 & under, and 12 & under age groups. The second session will be for the middle school and older kids.
