The Great Bend Chiefs (20-18) are slated to face Garden City in the first round of Legion four-team sub state competition beginning Wednesday at Garden City. The winners of Wednesday’s competition will play for the tournament title at 4 p.m. on Thursday.

Wednesday’s tournament opener begins at 2 p.m. Host Dodge City (28-12) will play Russell (24-6) at 4:30 p.m. The first round of the consolation bracket will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday with the consolation championship at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
