DODGE CITY GIRLS 52, GREAT BEND 39

DODGE CITY – When Great Bend standout Emilee Hall drew her fourth foul, the only question was how far behind would be the Panthers be when she returned.

Dodge City answered with a 12-2 scoring run over 5:21 for a 39-25 lead after three periods. The Red Demons were never challenged in the fourth quarter for a 52-39 Western Athletic Conference basketball victory.

The Panthers' one-two scoring punch of Sadie Spray (17) and Hall (14) were spectacular as usual. They combined for 12 of 17 field goals by finishing shots inside. The only disadvantage was attempts by Spray and Hall while attempting shots were not rewarded with two-shot free throws.
