David Meter, GBHS athletic director; Josh Moran, Adrian Falk, Wyatt Bryant, Trey Popp and Tony Crough, GBHS head football coach

As Great Bend High School first-year head football coach, Tony Crough proudly announces four of his Panthers have signed their letters of intent to play in college.
Josh Moran signed to play at Hutchinson Community College as an offensive lineman.
Crough said Moran started at left tackle his senior year. “Josh has built himself into a good football player through much hard work,” Crough said. “He has a high football IQ and was a definitely an intellectual leader for the offensive line. Josh is proof that hard work and passion for the game lead to football success.”
Trey Popp sign to play at Garden City Community College as an offensive lineman.
Popp started as center during his junior and senior seasons, Crough said. “Trey is a very skilled interior offensive who has great feet and plays with a high motor,” Crough said. “He was a physical leader for us this year on the field and in the weight room. Trey has the ability to get on the field quick at the next level as he is versatile and can play all positions on the offensive line.”
Adrian Falk will also play at GCCC, but as a defensive lineman.
Crough said Falk played defensive end and running back for the Panthers during his senior year, his only season at GBHS. His stats include 14 rushes for 102 yards, one touchdown, 19 total tackles and four for a loss. “Adrian is an extremely gifted athlete who we used on both sides of the ball, but will most likely be a defensive lineman in college,” Crough said. “His combination of size, strength and speed makes him very tough to block or tackle at any level.”
Wyatt Bryant will also play at GCCC as a defensive line/linebacker.
Bryant was a two-year starter as a defensive lineman and linebacker, registering 43 tackles, four for a loss, two sacks and one forced fumble as a senior. “Wyatt was an emotional leader on our defense over the last two seasons,” Crough said. “He plays with a high motor and relentless in his pursuit of the football. Wyatt played multiple positions for us due to injury and excelled at all of them. He will make for a great defensive player at the next level and will work his way onto the field.”
