Denver Ringo records a winner against Garden City.

Opening the season at home, the Great Bend Middle School 7th grade volleyball team swept Dodge City Middle School and Garden City Horance Good Middle School.   

After a shaky start, the GBMS A-team (2-0) was put on track by Braylee Carper’s six aces. Six servers recorded three or more aces against Horace Good. Miya Nachitgal collected nine aces and two winners against Dodge City. 

Denver Ringo’s serves were 90% accurate. Alyssa McCaulley took care of points 13 through 25 with consistent serving

GBMS B TEAM — The B-team girls (2-0) came out with a vengence outscore their oppontents 100-45, beating Garden City 25-21, 25-10 and Dodge City 25-8, 25-6.   

Servers MacKenzie Lindberg, Tatum Anderson, Zoe Mayberry and Braelyn Turner combined 78 times with 47 aces.  Lindberg and Heidi Jording set the ball up 19 times and Nathalia Gonzalez contributed three winners.
