The Great Bend Middle School football battled hard, but came away with 8th-grade, 7th-grade and B team losses to Garden City Ken Henderson Middle School
Henderson Middle School won 28-0 in the 8th-grade game. RB Wiley Brand gained 63 yards, followed by Mason Miranda with 31 yards. Defensively GBMS was led by James Voldovinos, Tristan Higgins and Wiley Brand each recording eight tackles. Mason Miranda recovered a fumble
Henderson Middle School won 12-8 in the 7th-grade game. The Panthers had 150 yards of total offense. Scott Heilman gained 30 yards, followed by Kadin Spragis (15) and Sage Koelsch (5).
QB Sage Koelsch threw for 75 yards. QB Scott Heilman threw for 25 yards, a touchdown and a 2-pointer. Joseph Moeder had six catches for 60 yards with a TD and a 2-pointer. Paco Hernandez had two catches for 30 yards. Joseph Moeder recovered a fumble and Einar Sanchez blocked a punt.
Henderson won the B game 18-6. Aiden Flores scored a touchdown and intercepted a pass. Andreas Rios intercepted two passes.
