The Great Bend Middle School eighth-grade volleyball team has been perfect through 16 matches.

The Panthers swept Dodge City Middle School and Dodge City Comanche. The Panthers swept Garden City Horace Good 25-28, 25-9 and Dodge City Middle School 25-21, 25-7 at home.  

Coach Michelle Barber rallied her girls and finished the night with a 25-7 final score.   

At Dodge City Middle School, GBMS beat GC Horace Good 15-4, 15-7;  Dodge City Comanche 15-4, 15-4; DCMS 15-5, 15-9 and Pratt 15-4, 15-12.  In the final match of the day, the Panthers rallied against GC Henderson 16-14, 15-11.  

GBMS B TEAM — The GBMS eighth-grade B team (9-1), beat GCHG and DCMS at home before adding to the win category going 5-0 at the DCMS tournament. GBMS beat GCHG 15-6, 15-9; Comanche 15-5, 15-5, DCMS 15-8, 15-11; Pratt 15-9, 15-6 and GCKH 15-6, 12-15, 15-9.

MacKenzie Lindberg found the floor eight times hitting in addition to eight ace serves.  Zoey Mayberry and Lainey Smith each aced six serves with Tatum Anderson adding seven and Jaselyn Werth two.
