Seven wrestlers unbeaten

Seven Great Bend Middle School wrestlers finished with 4-0 records at the recent “Battle of the Bend,” home wrestling tournament.

Earning 4-0 records were 90 Triston Tomlinson, 100 Hayden Liles, 105 Hayden Kelly (3 pins), 127 Blake Stein, (3 pins), 134 Slayde Apley, (3 pins), 155 Kale Kern and 180 Trenton Kern.

Great Bend competed in a pool with Garden City Horace Good and Concordia. Great Bend, Hays and Salina South finished their pools and competed in the gold bracket. Great Bend defeated Salina South, but lost to Hays Middle School  59-33.
