Great Bend Middle School downed Hays 60-47 and won five of 18 matches in a loss to Scott City in middle school wrestling at Great Bend.

Jace Schartz (127), Aidan Davidson (141), Trenton Kern (155), and Brody Schnoebelen(165) pinned their Scott City opponent. Michael Montoya (120) won by decision.

Schnoebelen pinned their foes.

“We started off slow against Scott City and did not wrestle as aggressive as we would‘ve liked, but against Hays we came out strong, ready to battle,” said Great Bend coach Norbert Muth.
