The Great Bend Recreation Commission along with the Great Bend Optimist Club is sponsoring the Pitch, Hit and Run Competition at Veterans Memorial Park on Thursday.
This is a free national program that gives boys and girls ages seven to 14 the chance to showcase their baseball abilities. Bring your own equipment if you intend to compete.
