PRATT — Eight Great Bend wrestlers placed first in the USA Western Kansas District 4 Wrestling Championships March 9. The Great Bend Kids Wrestling Club earned eight first-place finishes and scored 218 points to finish first in the team scoring. Scott City (183) placed second and Hays (163) finished third.

Placing first were Stryker Avery (52); Cal Schartz (61); Drake Martin (67), Jace Schartz (92), Skyler McMullen (90); Kaden Spragis (100); Wyatt Weber (110) and George Weber (145).

“Congratulations state-bound wrestlers. Your hard work brought home our 1st District 4 championship trophy,” said Great Bend wrestling coach Darin Schartz.
