HOISINGTON — Hoisington’s triple winners Dayne Yott and Xavier Robinson led the Cardinals to 208.6 points and first place in Tuesday’s Hoisington Track Invitational. Cimarron placed runner-up (121.8 points).

Yott swept the high jump (5-4), 300-meter hurdles (42.76) and 1,600 meters (4:56.15).

Robinson swept the long jump (21-31/2) and triple jump (41-81/2) and teamed with Cade Mason, Chase Robinson, and Wyatt Pedigo on the first-place 400-meter relay (45.18).

Pedigo won the shot put (42-83/4) and Wyatt Wikum won the 100-meter hurdles (20.33).

St. John won five events — Trey Fisher, 400 (53.73); Cashe McVey, 800 (2:08.24) and javelin (145-7) and the Tigers won the 1,600 relay (3:46.67) with Fisher, Joel Ortiz, McVey and Mason Osborne; and the 3,200 relay (8:59.76) with Fisher, Eddy Calleros, Osborne and McVey.

Otis-Bison’s Luke Higgason won the discus (142-10).

Hoisington’s Suzanna Schneider won the 100 (13.55), 200 (28.03) and long jump (14-10). Maleigha Schmidt captured the 

javelin (101-7) and pole vault (10-7). 

Hoisington’s other winners were Samanatha Colson, 100 hurdles (16.84); Bailey Sanders, 300 hurdles (50.53); and the 400-meter relay (53.2) with Schmidt, Sanders, Schneider and Colson competing.

St. John’s Erin Crissman won the triple jump (32-11/2) and Otis-Bison’s Cora Anderson won the shot put (31-23/4).
