HOISINGTON – The Hoisington Cardinal junior varsity volleyball team swept five matches to earn first place in their home invitational. The Cardinals won 10 consecutive sets, but edged Central Plains, 26-24, 25-23; Ellis, 25-23, 25-23; and Russell, 26-24, 25-20 in close 2-set matches.
