Wet field conditions delayed the 2017 KCAC Softball Championship until Thursday at the Great Bend Sports Complex. The KCAC all-league awards will be recognized about 8 p.m. Thursday when play is completed for the day.
The KCAC winner Ottawa and post-season champion will advance to NAIA regionals May 15-17. Oklahoma Wesleyan beat Sterling 5-4 to capture the 2016 softball title. Oklahoma Wesleyan went 0-2 at Alexandria, La. and Friends finishd 0-2 at Oklahoma City last year.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $6 for seniors (55 and up) and faculty, staff; $3 for students and those aged 6-18, children 5 and under gain entry free of charge. NAIA passes will be accepted.
