Larned Indian Jeron Debes places ninth at Thursday's Abby Trapp Prescott cross country invitational.

LARNED — Macksville's Madison Butler (22:38.5) earned 9th-10th medalist honors at Thursday's Abby Trapp Prescott Cross Country Classic. Hoisington's Kendall Mason (26:08.5) was ninth medalist.

Central Plains' Hannah Redetzke (24:14.8) earned third medalist in the junior/senior girls division and teammate Monica Short (26:51.0) placed eighth. Pratt's Addie Hoeme (24:02.6) earned medalist honors. Macksville's Abigail Ibarra (27:29.4) placed 10th.

Top 10 junior/senior boys medalists were Hoisington's fourth-place Ian Doss (19:15.1) and sixth-place Gabe Hipp (19:45.3); Otis Bison's eighth-place Peytan Butler (20:17.9); and St. John's ninth-place Uriel Calleros (20:22.1) and 10th-place Dylan Reed (20:37.5). 

Top 10 9th-10th grade boys medalists were Hoisington's third-place Karter Wolf (19:40.2); Central Plains' fourth-place Peyton Ryan (19:47.8); Larned's ninth-place Jeron Debes (21:38.9) and Macksville's 10th-place Jesse Nava (21;42.0).
