Larned, Ellinwood athletes compete at Spearville

SPEARVILLE — Larned Indian Kaylee Hagerman swept the triple jump (33-3) and 200 meters (27.22) and placed runner-up in the long jump 16-13/4) at the Spearville Track Invitational.

Larned's Cadee Upson won the discus (108-6) and placed runner-up in the shot put (36-01/2).

St. John's 3,200-meter relay (11:03.56) placed first with Heidi Fisher, Averi Fisher, Reagen Bonner and Lydia Reed. Macksville's Mayce Russell won the javelin (120-8).

Runner-up girls finishers were Larned's Cara Herbert, 100-meter hurdles (16.25) and 200 meters (27.62); Ellinwood's Kennedy Behnke, 400 ( 1:05.63); Larned's 400-meter relay (51.53) with Alexa Beltz, Aieilah Collins, Herbert and Hagerman; and St. John's 1,600-meter relay (4:29.77) with Heidi Fisher, Mia Meyer, Bonner and Reed.

BOYS DIVISION — Ellinwood's Koy Behnke won the 200 meters (22.92) and 400 meters (52.73); and St. John's Quade Smith swept the 800 (2:08.51) and 1,600 (5:00.86).

Other first-place winners were St. John's Braxton Alpers, triple jump (37-11); and St. John's 3,200-meter relay (9:03.19) with Jace Reyes, Alan Valenzuela, Alpers and Smith.

Runner-up finishers were Larned's Kaden Auble, 100 (11.38) and long jump (19-0);; Ellinwood's Asher Miller, 3,200 (11:13.17);  Larned's Donovan Wilder, high jump (6-0); Larned's Lane Elam, triple jump (37-5); Larned's Riley Pontius, javelin (149-7);  Macksville's 3,200-meter relay ( 9:09.82) with Alexis Barron, Lance Lickiss, Jesse Nava, Orion Guevara; Ellinwood's 1,600 relay (3:46.53) with Matthew Cook, Ty Hammeke, Logan Panning, Behnke.
