Jayme Hagerman sparks Larned girls
LYONS – Larned’s Jayme Hagerman won four events to spark the Indian girls to 129 points and first place at Friday’s Lyons Track Invitational.
GIRLS DIVISION – Jayme Hagerman swept the 100 meters (13.52); 400 (1:03.61); long jump (16-11) and triple jump (35-2). Larned’s other winners were the 400-meter relay (54.17); Kaylee Hagerman, 200 (28.36); Cadee Upson, shot put (35-8); and Teagan Walker, 100-meter hurdles (18.72), 300 hurdles (52.64).
Ellinwood’s Mary Dimitt, discus (91-7); Central Plains’ Lauren Oeser, javelin (99-3); Macksville’s Madison Butler, 1,600 (6:06.5) and 3,200 (13:22.41); and St. John, 1,600 relay (4;27.51); 3,200 relay (10:55.64) were other first-place finishers.
BOYS DIVISION – Macksville won three events and scored 118 points to win the boys division. Macksville’s winners were Alexis Barron, 110-meter hurdles (17.35); Ryan Kuckelman, 400 (52.57); and the 1,600-meter relay (3:40.5); and Jason Cleveland, pole vault (11-0).
Other first-place winners were Larned’s Brayson Bird, 200 (24.08); Fernando Herrera, triple jump (30-01/2); Kaleb Augustine, shot put (42-61/4); discus (121-3); and St. John’s Preston Dunn, 300 hurdles (43.71); Central Plains’ Cole Lamatsch, 800 (2:07.91) and 1,600m (4:49.48); Ellinwood’s Asher Miller, 3,200m (10:48.36); and the Eagles’ 3,200-meter relay (9:18.93).
