Liberal soccer outscores Panthers 9-1

LIBERAL – Liberal’s soccer team rolled past Great bend 9-1 in Thursday’s Western Athletic Conference game.

Great Bend (0-7, 0-5) WAC plays Garden City (4-3, 2-1 WAC) at home Tuesday.

Liberal’s Ashley Carrillo scored four goals and Kenia Martinez scored twice. Stefany Ortuno, Karime Neave and Coraima Chavira also scored. Assists were dished out by Ashley Carrillo, Arely Molina, Jasmine Hernandez, Abi Michel, Hailey Contreras and Lesslie Galindo.
