Macksville runner places fifth
VICTORIA – Macksville Mustang Madison Butler (21:01.8) continues to improve with a fifth-place medalist finish at the 1A state cross country meet at the Sand Plum 5K-course. Butler posted her best state time ahead of her ninth-place finish (21:23.3) and her 12th-place finish (21:34.9) the past two years.
Macksville’s girls finished sixth (97).
