STAFFORD — Central Plains Oiler Alex Hickel shot even-par 70 to earn medalist honors at Tuesday’s St. John Golf Invitational at Stafford Country Club. Hickel birdied Nos. 1, 3, 13 and 18 to offset four bogeys in 85-degree heat.
Hoisington’s Drew Nicholson (83) was runner-up and St. John’s Marshall Woolf (84) placed third.
St. John (369) won the team title with Hoisington (378) placing runner-up.
