STAFFORD — Otis-Bison’s Maitland Wiltse scored 23 points as the Cougars avenged a Fairfield Classic loss to Stafford with a non-league basketball victory Tuesday.
Otis-Bison (6-1) also placed Anton Foust (13) and Luke Higgason (12) in double figures. Stafford (4-3) was paced by Alek Manojlovic with 13 points and Matija Ivanovic with 10 points. The Trojans routed the Cougars 59-42 to capture first place at the Fairfield Falcon Classic two weeks ago.
“I’m proud of our guys because we’re slowly getting better,” said Otis-Bison coach Curtis Little. “We’ll see how Thursday goes with St. John coming to town.”

STAFFORD — Otis-Bison’s Cora Anderson scored 22 points and Maddie Wiltse added 19 points as the Cougars roared past Stafford 62-26 in Tuesday’s non-league basketball game. Anderson and Wiltse combined for 22 first-quarter points. Anderson scored 20 first-half points.
Otis-Bison (6-0, 1-0 CPL) plays St. John (3-4, 0-1 CPL) Thursday at home.
