Panther bowlers sweep Demons

DODGE CITY – Great Bend Panthers Paige Wagner (619) and Bryce Moore (578) earned medalist honors as the Panther bowlers rolled past Dodge City’s girls 9-2 and the boys 10-1 in Thursday’s Western Athletic Conference dual.

The Great Bend girls rolled a 2,445 total with a 2,015 series and 430 Baker score. Other finishers were fourth-place Kristy Wittig (498); sixth-place Lexy Fox (431); eighth-place Nichole Griffin (419); 10th-place Zues Garcia (401); 12th-place Aliyah Fryberger (377).

The Great Bend boys scored a 2,799 total with  a 2,228 series and 571 Baker score.

Runner-up Corbin Stanley (575); third-place Lyan Shell (551); sixth-place Dalton Dicks (507); eighth-place Dalton Murphy (458) and  ninth-place Jalen Daniels, (455).
